Experience outback farm life in the beautiful North Burnett Region of Queensland...only 3 short hours drive from the Sunshine Coast.
"Jerakala" is a family run farm located in the North Burnett region of Queensland (postcode 4626). We are seeking people looking to work toward their 2nd year visa and willing to work on a voluntary basis. Construction experience preferred at the moment.
This is unpaid work but accommodation, meals, laundry and internet are all provided. The farm consists of cattle, dogs, horses, chickens and a pig. We also have olive trees and are currently renovating a farm house. Work will include general farm work, house renovation and painting, mustering, fencing, weeding and animal work.
You will have a bedroom separate from the main house with toilet and bath and small cooking area. There is lots of open space. Work is 6 hours a day 6 days a week (similar to WWOOFing).
We can pick up and drop off from the Sunshine Coast Airport or Train Station on a weekly basis if required. Two week minimum stay but 4 weeks or longer is preferred.
